Another one of my Christmas decorating projects beginning to take shape. I think this is the final project that I'm taking on, because if I don't stop with the new ideas I will not have the time to finish any of them. This particular project is giving me the opportunity to try something that I have wanted to do for awhile--negative painting. I found a series of videos that helped explain the technique in a way that I was able to comprehend. It has slowed down my painting process, which is a good thing. It gives me time to contemplate and really enjoy the journey instead of rushing to the finish.
